Summer Greetings

Hello Beautiful People!

Summer came fast and furious this year and it was super hot even at night during our last circle in early June. Due to the heat I don’t want to schedule a circle for the solstice this coming Friday, but Barbara and I will be getting together on Friday evening and if you would like to join us drop me a line and I’ll fill you in on the when and where as soon as we figure it out.

We will not be having a drum circle in July – we are taking the drums on the road to Jemez Pueblo, New Mexico for a gathering that is forming for July 19, 20, and 21st. My friend Lisa Gawlas has posted some information on her site about the gathering. http://www.mysoulcenter.com/empoweredgathering.html  This gathering is free of charge and ALL are welcome to join…if you have any questions please feel free to contact me and I’d be happy to share some more information about this event.

I am planning on hosting a drum circle for children this summer at my home – ages 10 and under. I don’t have a date set yet ~ If you know of anyone with children that would like to participate please forward my email and I will keep them in the loop as this comes together.

We will be having a drum circle in August – indoors – at my home and I’ll post the info next month!

Love and hugs and stay cool!

June 7th Medicine Wheel Drum Circle

Hello beautiful People!

Firstly, I’d like to thank Judy for hosting the May Drum Circle…the night was made for drumming. I was inspired by a drumming round led by Sue, she set the intent to send healing and everyone called out names of friends and loved ones needing healing. The energy was quite powerful as the night air became filled with love and compassion.

I would like to build on the intent of those moments and dedicate this upcoming drum circle for healing ~ healing for yourself, loved ones, situations, our earth home. If you are able to join us I would like to encourage you to bring something you find meaningful to share with the group…a prayer, reading, poem, short story, or a personal life experience.  We will be drumming in the medicine wheel and we will have a short ceremony to open the circle.

Hope you are able to join and bring a friend!

Be blessed this day

~Esther

3/15 Drum Circle Update

Greetings

Tonight there was an unexpected disruption to our scheduled location at area 4 – the park hosted a last minute hay ride in the area where we had planned to meet. This hay ride was supposed to happen last week and due to rain it was cancelled. I am sooo sorry I was not aware of this until I arrived at the park. We moved to area 3 and quite a few people found us…but I’m afraid that maybe some of you did not find us and might have gotten lost in the shuffle. There was nothing I could do about contacting anyone – even if you had my cell phone, it doesn’t get reception at the White Tanks.

I hope that all turned out well for everyone tonight…we had a wonderful circle with lots of new friends from the flute circle and from the Mystic Hearts Meetup.

Much love to everyone. Namaste 🙂

Reminder for Friday Night

Join us for a Friday evening Dinner and Drum Circle at the White Tank Mountain Regional Park on March 15th.

Bring a picnic dinner and join us at 6:30 pm at Area 4A. After dusk we will be lighting a campfire for our evening drum circle.  If you are unable to join us for dinner but would like to come for the drumming plan on arriving by 7:30pm.

There are bench tables under the ramada for eating, but you will need to bring a folding chair to sit by the campfire.

Children are welcome. There is a play area for children right by where we will be meeting.

Directions: Take Olive traveling west until it ends at the entrance to the White Tank Mountain Regional Park.   As you enter the park stay on the main road until you reach Black Rock Loop Trail and turn right to enter the parking area. Area 4A is immediately to the left of the parking area.

The White Tank Park is part of the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation department and charges a $6.00 entrance fee per car.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me at: epapegaay@gmail.com

Hope to see you there!
